Dr. Appling graduated from Broward College in Fort Lauderdale, FL in 2013 with his Associate's Degree in Nursing Science. He received his Bachelor of Nursing Science from Kaplan University in 2016 with honors, and in 2019 received his MSN from the University of South Alabama. He completed his Doctorate of Nursing Practice at the same institution with honors in the fall of 2021.
He previously worked in an in-patient drug and alcohol detox facility from 2013-2017 in Boca Raton, FL. Since 2017, he has worked with behavioral health patients in the home setting.
Dr. Appling is a doctor of psychiatric nursing practice. He specializes in mental healthcare diagnosing and treating mental health conditions including prescribing medication for condition management and offering CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) for those individuals who would benefit from counseling. Clients may require additional specialized therapies. Dr. Appling will coordinate the need for these therapies with his trusted network of therapists.
Lucca De Sedas is the office manager for Kaleidoscope Health. He serves as our main contact regarding all patient-related information and billing inquiries.
Lucca has extensive knowledge regarding all practice protocols and procedures, and is a valuable resource in coordinating in-patient hospitalizations, if needed, and in recommending and arranging psychotherapeutic services. Lucca is available to answer any questions regarding client care.
Lucca is originally from Panama City, Panama, and speaks both English and Spanish fluently. If Spanish-language services are required, he will be grateful to assist. Para consultas en español estamos a su disposicion.
He received his marketing degree from Florida International University in 2000 and has worked in the public domain ever since.
Lucca has extensive experience working in customer service and client-relations and acts as a liaison between the provider and his patients.
He will be available to answer all client-related questions and will coordinate with our practitioner if direct communication with the provider is needed.
